YOUR ROUTINE PRAYERS help you cover a wide range of praises and petitions without overtaxing your brain, but that very efficiency carries with it a danger: You can sleepwalk through your regular prayers. To avoid doing that, make use of the massive Power source within you—the Holy Spirit. He will help you stay alert as you invite Him to empower your prayers with Life.



Prayerfully consider new ideas for communing with Me that will awaken your soul and enliven our relationship.



MEDITATION:

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”

TODAY:

We are refreshed and renewed daily by the Lord’s gracious spiritual gifts. He comforts us with inner strength and peace, especially in life’s storms.



PRAY:

Father in Heaven, Your faithfulness, divine love and power are inexhaustible. Transform me from within. Open the eyes of my heart so that I will continually live a Spirit-filled life. Mold me into Christ's image so that I will be pleasing to You. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen!

APRIL 2nd



I AM WATCHING OVER YOU CONTINUALLY. NO matter what you are experiencing or how alone you feel, trust that I am with you—well aware of your circumstances. When you are in the throes of adversity, it is easy to feel abandoned. So it is crucial at such times to tell yourself the truth: Nothing can separate you from My loving Presence. When this truth has sunk deeply into your mind and heart, you are ready to commune with Me. You will find Me tenderly present with you as I enter into your suffering. The intimacy you share with Me is enhanced by adversity when you invite Me into your experience without bitterness or resentment.



To enjoy these intimate moments with Me, you must trust Me—refusing to rely on your own understanding. Trusting Me involves consciously leaning on Me for support, just as leaning on a massive rock helps you keep standing when you are weary. I am indeed the Rock of your refuge—Rejoice in the One who supports you so strongly and loves you so tenderly.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

TODAY:

Trust that the Lord is with you today, nothing can separate you from His love and compassion no matter what you are experiencing. Praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, as he is our rock and our refuge.



PRAY:

Dear Father, I know that your loving presence is with me especially in times of adversity and you will always protect and shelter me. I believe in you as my Savior and I will live by a place of peace and faith and not rely on my own understanding, in Christ Jesus, Amen!

We may feel inadequate at times and abandoned but with God we are complete. This truth will set you free. The favor of God is in our lives and if we believe with all of our heart and mind we will be untouchable. BELIEVE!!!

AFTER MY RESURRECTION, the first words I spoke to My disciples were, “Peace be with you!” You also need to be reminded of the divine nature of this gift, for it is not the world’s peace I give you: It is Peace that transcends all understanding! As you receive My glorious Peace, you gain deeper intimacy with Me—the richest blessing of all!

Lift your eyes and imagine the never-ending fountain of My Peace washing over you.

MEDITATION:
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

TODAY:
Lean on the Lord when making decisions. He is gracious, merciful, compassionate and trustworthy.

PRAY:
Father in Heaven, You are the center of my universe. I seek you with my whole heart, mind and soul. I pray to you for strength, guidance and encouragement. I AM refreshed and renewed in my spiritual journey by Your Word, grace, love and peace. In Jesus’ name I pray to be guided by your righteous right hand in the spirit of truth. Amen!

MARCH 31st



I AM SOVEREIGN—AND I AM GOOD. Subordinate your finite mind to My infinite intelligence and sovereign ways. Cling to Me in childlike trust, believing that My way—though mysterious—is perfect.



Relinquish your demand to understand—and find rest in My Presence.



MEDITATION:

“He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken!”

TODAY:

Believe in God’s promises wholeheartedly and experience His endless love, grace, mercy and peace.



PRAY:

Father in Heaven, I humble myself before you with childlike faith. Your radiant light within me is my power source. It gives me strength. I know behind the scenes you are fighting my battles. I trust in your timing that is always perfect. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. I pray in Christ Jesus’ mighty name, amen!

MARCH 30th

BEWARE OF FEELING ENTITLED TO MY GOOD gifts. Receive blessings from Me thankfully, yet be willing to release them back to Me—without growing resentful.

When you have lost something precious (your job, your house, your health, a loved one), you may think it is irrational to be joyful. But this is a worldly way of thinking. Major losses are very painful, and they do need to be grieved. Nonetheless, with time and effort you can learn to focus on the good things that remain—and find Joy in the One who will never leave you.

Remember that it is possible to be sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. The apostle Paul learned the secret of being joyful in all situations through his experiences of multiple hardships. The Holy Spirit empowered Paul to find Joy in the midst of adversity, and He can do the same for you. You must be willing, though, to let go of anything I take from you—no matter how painful the loss. Then direct your attention fully to Me—trusting that I will never let go of you.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

TODAY:
Receive God's blessings with a grateful heart; let Him who is all powerful renew your life. While major losses are very painful, there is a time and season for everything in our lives. Trust in the Lord's promise that He will never let you go.

PRAY:
Dear Father, I ask Your Holy Spirit to empower me as He did Paul; teach me the secret of being joyful in the midst of adversity and multiple hardships. I ask this through Christ Jesus, Amen!
