APRIL 1st

“Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

AFTER MY RESURRECTION, the first words I spoke to My disciples were, “Peace be with you!” You also need to be reminded of the divine nature of this gift, for it is not the world’s peace I give you: It is Peace that transcends all understanding! As you receive My glorious Peace, you gain deeper intimacy with Me—the richest blessing of all!

Lift your eyes and imagine the never-ending fountain of My Peace washing over you.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

TODAY:
Lean on the Lord when making decisions. He is gracious, merciful, compassionate and trustworthy.

PRAY:
Father in Heaven, You are the center of my universe. I seek you with my whole heart, mind and soul. I pray to you for strength, guidance and encouragement. I AM refreshed and renewed in my spiritual journey by Your Word, grace, love and peace. In Jesus’ name I pray to be guided by your righteous right hand in the spirit of truth. Amen!

I AM SOVEREIGN—AND I AM GOOD. Subordinate your finite mind to My infinite intelligence and sovereign ways. Cling to Me in childlike trust, believing that My way—though mysterious—is perfect.



Relinquish your demand to understand—and find rest in My Presence.



MEDITATION:

Believe in God’s promises wholeheartedly and experience His endless love, grace, mercy and peace.



PRAY:

Father in Heaven, I humble myself before you with childlike faith. Your radiant light within me is my power source. It gives me strength. I know behind the scenes you are fighting my battles. I trust in your timing that is always perfect. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. I pray in Christ Jesus’ mighty name, amen!

MARCH 30th

BEWARE OF FEELING ENTITLED TO MY GOOD gifts. Receive blessings from Me thankfully, yet be willing to release them back to Me—without growing resentful.

When you have lost something precious (your job, your house, your health, a loved one), you may think it is irrational to be joyful. But this is a worldly way of thinking. Major losses are very painful, and they do need to be grieved. Nonetheless, with time and effort you can learn to focus on the good things that remain—and find Joy in the One who will never leave you.

Remember that it is possible to be sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. The apostle Paul learned the secret of being joyful in all situations through his experiences of multiple hardships. The Holy Spirit empowered Paul to find Joy in the midst of adversity, and He can do the same for you. You must be willing, though, to let go of anything I take from you—no matter how painful the loss. Then direct your attention fully to Me—trusting that I will never let go of you.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

TODAY:
Receive God's blessings with a grateful heart; let Him who is all powerful renew your life. While major losses are very painful, there is a time and season for everything in our lives. Trust in the Lord's promise that He will never let you go.

PRAY:
Dear Father, I ask Your Holy Spirit to empower me as He did Paul; teach me the secret of being joyful in the midst of adversity and multiple hardships. I ask this through Christ Jesus, Amen!

FEBRUARY 27

DON’T LET PROBLEMS INTIMIDATE YOU. I—the Mighty One—am in your midst—and I am greater than all the trouble in the world. Hold tightly to My hand, and you can walk confidently through your toughest times.

Remember that you are not alone—I am with you.

TODAY:
Find courage in the Lord. No weapon formed against us will prosper when we take steps of faith and trust in Him. We are victorious serving our Savior, the living God and Prince of Peace.

PRAY:
Father in Heaven, I persevere in prayer as you are my lifeline, my healer and my protector. Each and every day I praise you for empowering me with renewed strength. Your everlasting grace is sufficient and I AM so grateful for your mercy and endless love that endures forever. Amen!

FEBRUARY 26th



GAZE AT ME; GLANCE AT PROBLEMS—THIS IS the secret of living victoriously. Your tendency is to gaze at problems for prolonged periods of time, glancing at Me for help. This is natural for someone with a fallen mind living in a fallen world. However, I have called you to live supernaturally, and I have empowered you to do so. The Holy Spirit, who lives in all My followers, enables you to live beyond yourself—to transcend your natural tendencies.



Ask My Spirit to help you fix your gaze on Me. Invite Him to alert you whenever you get overly focused on problems so you can redirect your attention to Me. This is hard work, because it is not only unnatural but also countercultural. Moreover, the evil one and his demons seek to distract you from My Presence. All these influences working together put massive pressure on you to pay attention to your problems—or else! So you need the assistance of My Spirit continually. Ask Him to help you deal with difficulties as needed, while reserving the bulk of your attention for Me—your constant Companion.

“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

—II Corinthians 4:18



TODAY:

Gaze at the Lord, let Him be your focal point and you will be victorious. Rise above the fallen world, the Lord has empowered us to live fruitfully through God's word that is living and all encompassing.



PRAY:

Dear Father, I transcend my natural tendencies and redirect my gaze on you through the Holy Spirit that resides in my heart. I fix my eyes on the unseen which is eternal and not worldly problems and possessions which are temporary. Everything I am searching for in this life is already within me waiting to be discovered. Further, I am never separate from Your unconditional love as it always fills and surrounds me. I thank you in Jesus name, Amen!

Whenever you face a decision, you first can ask yourself a very dangerous question: “If I choose this, am I seeking to please the Lord, or am I seeking to please myself?”
